Manuscript.no is a writing platform for authors and publishing houses. Its AI analyzes the work — character logic, pacing, structure, style — but never generates prose. There is no autocomplete and no ghostwriting. Every word is written by a human.

Does Manuscript.no autocomplete or write text for me?

No. Never. Not a sentence, not a paragraph, not a draft to react to. The Mirror, the Critic, and the Architect are read-only by design. The hard limit is drawn in code — there is no autocomplete API to opt into.

Do you train on my manuscript?

No. Your manuscript is not fed to our models, anyone else's models, or anyone else's product. The text you write is read by you, the people you invite, and nothing else.

The Mirror is a read-only character reader. It extracts traits, contradictions, voice consistency, dialogue rhythm, and POV shifts from the prose you wrote, and surfaces annotations in the right margin. The Mirror flags. The author decides. The Mirror cannot type.

What is the Architect?

The Architect is a scene-card and plot-thread workspace inside the manuscript. Drag, reorder, color-code acts and threads — without leaving the editor. The Architect surfaces structure; it does not impose one.
